John Abraham has been announced to play the lead in ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ aka ‘RAW’, a spy-thriller which initially had Sushant Singh Rajput as the lead. Since Sushant chose to part ways from the project, the makers were on the lookout for a good replacement, and John seems to have fit the bill. The action star will begin shooting for Robbie Grewal’s ‘RAW’ from June 1 in a start-to-finish 60 days schedule. The film is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and will be shot in Gujarat, Nepal, Srinagar and Delhi. Apart from taking up ‘RAW’, John will soon be seen in ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’ alongside Diana Penty.
