Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has pulled off casting coup of sorts as he has roped in John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi for his next, a gangster drama. After working on hits like ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’ and ‘Shootout At Wadala’, the filmmaker is planning a project that will be set in the 1980s and 90s. Speaking about the project, Gupta says, “It is my third outing with John and I’m super excited to work with Emraan, I have always wanted to work with him. I am back to my base of film making, gangster dramas. All I can say is, it is good to be home.” The gangster drama will chronicle events that turned Bombay to Mumbai, closing of mills, murder of a key businessman, gang-wars and the nexus between politicians-cops-underworld and the business fraternity.
