John Abraham is getting ready to step in Salman Khan’s domain, or so it seems. Salman is known to release his films during the festive time of Eid every year. In 2019, Akshay Kumar ‘Laxxmi Bomb’ was announced to release on Eid 2020. Owing to pandemic, the film finally went to an OTT platform. And now, John may have stepped into Khan’s territory with ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. The makers – director Milap Zaveri and producers Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani – have decided to release it on May 12, 2021, which is during Eid. Talking about the development, Milap says, “Eid is a perfect occasion to release as it will offer entertainment galore.” The backdrop is set in Lucknow where John will be seen tackling corruption.
