Mark your calendars – September 19th 2025 will witness a legal face-off that’s anything but ordinary. ‘Jolly LLB 3’ the latest chapter in the courtroom comedy saga, pits Akshay Kumar against Arshad Warsi in a battle of wits, quirks and legal loopholes. With Subhash Kapoor once again steering the ship, the film promises a riotous blend of satire and suspense. But before it could hit the big screen, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) stepped in with its scalpel. The film earned a U/A 16+ rating after undergoing a series of cosmetic tweaks: profanity was scrubbed, alcohol branding blurred and a few scenes softened to meet certification standards. None of these edits, however, diluted the film’s punch. For the first time, both iterations of Jolly will lock horns in a courtroom showdown that’s being hyped as the franchise’s most explosive clash yet. Expect chaos, charisma and courtroom drama with a conscience.
