Juhi Chawla may not be against new technology per se, but the actress is conscious of the environment. In the past, she has made her voice heard when it came down to saving the planet and going green. Treading on the same path, Juhi has now moved against the implementation of the 5G telecom services in India. She submitted in court that the towers emitting radiation for such a technology harms the environment to the point of no return. Sharing her side of the story, Juhi says, “We are not against the implementation of technological advancements. However, after doing our own research and studies regarding the radiation from the wire-free gadgets and network cell towers, the radiation seems extremely harmful and injurious to the health and safety of the people.” Even in the past, Juhi has filed different lawsuits challenging haphazard erection of mobile cell phone towers in the country.
