Saif Ali Khan’s quirky look in the first teaser of ‘Kaalakaandi’ has got everyone talking, and the actor is pepped up about the crazy film! “‘Kaalakaandi’ is one of the best movies I’ve been in. Akshat (director Akshat Verma) has done a stellar job reflecting the soul of Mumbai. It highlights its underbelly and counterculture so brilliantly, and for that, it needs to be celebrated,” says Saif. The film marks the directorial debut of Akshat Verma, who wrote the screenplay of ‘Delhi Belly’. “‘Kaalakaandi’ is a labor of love. The role was tailor-made for Saif and he has done a swell job with his performance. We are overwhelmed with the response that we have received for the teaser and can’t wait to finally showcase the film to the audience,” says the director. Akshat and team had been working on the film since a few of years and the movie is now ready to hit the screens on September 8.
