Sanjay Gupta has long been planning to make a sequel to his 2002 release ‘Kaante’, and also has a dream cast in mind. Trade buzz suggests that the filmmaker is keen to rope in Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham for the second film of this heist franchise, which is reportedly titled ‘Kaante 2’. For now, the film is in its initial stages and may include several biggies besides Abhishek and John. ‘Kaante’ was inspired from Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Reservoir Dogs’ (1992) and featured an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Kumar Gaurav, Lucky Ali and Mahesh Manjrekar.
