Shahid Kapoor’s angry and angst portrayal in ‘Kabir Singh’ is earning big numbers at the box office. While the film has stirred a debate on toxic and masculine attitude theaters are running packed and are resulting in massive business for the makers. After an impressive opening of Rs 20.21 crore last week ‘Kabir Singh’ quickly claimed a spot in the Rs 100-crore club in just five days. The film was made on a budget of approximately Rs 60 crore and its earnings stand tall with a total of Rs 120.81 crore so far. ‘Kabir Singh’ is the Hindi remake of the hit Telugu drama ‘Arjun Reddy’, both of which were directed by the same director, Sandeep Vanga.
