The futuristic epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ helmed by director Nag Ashwin has made cinematic waves by becoming the top-grossing international film of 2024 in North America outpacing ‘Demon Slayer’ and ‘Godzilla Minus One’ with a staggering $18.3 million in earnings. This milestone also solidifies its position as the second highest-grossing Indian film in North America following in the footsteps of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. Starring a powerhouse ensemble including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles with cameo appearances by SS Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has captivated audiences across India crossing the Rs 600 crore mark across multiple languages.
