Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘2.0’ is finally set to release during Diwali, on November 29. Interestingly, the makers of Kangana Ranaut-starrer period drama ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ were also eyeing the same date. Earlier, both the films were to clash in April. However, with VFX work pending, both ‘2.0’ and ‘Manikarnika’ were postponed. While it seems like November 29 may see two big releases, trade buzz suggests that Kangana may once again delay the release of her Jhansi act at a later stage. ‘2.0’ is a sci-fi thriller featuring Akshay in a negative role. ‘Manikarnika’, on the other hand, is a warrior biopic.
