Yesterday, Kangana Ranaut opened fire against the makers of the web series ‘Tandav’, which is already in news for all the wrong reasons. Some felt the series depicts Hindu Gods in a poor light so a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against the team. While the director Ali Abbas Zafar and others have already tendered an unconditional apology, Kangana has added fuel to the fire. Kangana Tweeted, “Time to take their heads off,” in a reply to the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Her entire tweet goes as, “Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Shishupala… ‘pehle shanti phir kranti’ (first silence then revolt)… time to take their heads off… Jai Shri Krishna.” As per policy, Twitter turned the handle to ‘read-only mode’ for a few hours and returned the full access only after Kangana deleted the Tweet.
