Kangana Ranaut is summoned yet again, this time for a complaint lodged by writer Javed Akhtar. Akhtar had alleged that Kangana had accused him of being a part of a Bollywood coterie during the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. According to the writer-lyricist, this has damaged his reputation and he filed a complaint against the actress. A metropolitan magistrate court directed Juhu police to submit a report in this case after which a summons was issued against Kangana yesterday. Reacting strongly on this, Kangana said, “‘Ghidharon ka ek jhund aur ek sherni… maza aayega’ (a lioness among a pack of jackals).” The case is adjourned to March 1, 2021, when the hearing will take place. Since it falls under section 204 of the Criminal Procedure Code, Kangana may have to go through a trial.
