Will ‘Shershaah’ land producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and director Vishnuvardhan, in trouble? It’s possible if a recent incident is something to go by. A Kashmiri journalist by the name of Faraz Ashraf is mulling over taking legal action against the makers for allegedly using his car registration number in the film. What’s worse is that the vehicle with the said number plate is used by terrorists in the film. Tagging the makers on Twitter, Ashraf said, “In the movie ‘Shershaah’, produced by Dharma Productions, Karan Johar has used my personal car registration number on the vehicle which is being used by militants in the movie. Ubaid Shams will be legally handling this case,” confirming a possible legal action against the cast and crew. ‘Shershaah’ stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and is a biographical war film based on late Captain Vikram Batra, PVC. It is one of the most successful digital films of 2021.
