Karan Johar celebrates his 50th birthday today, May 25, 2022. And to celebrate this Golden Jubilee, what could be more perfect than announcing a film apart from throwing a grand bash. While we informed our readers about the Black And Bling theme party which Karan was hosting at Yash Raj Studios, it became an even bigger milestone for this director-producer. KJo announced that this time, it will be an out-and-out action film instead of his usual romantic dramas. For him, this is completely new territory as he steps out of his comfort zone. Karan made the announcement on his social media handles, “The one aspect that I believe I am most passionate about is being a filmmaker! In the past, I have always taken long gaps between my films but today on this special day, I would like to announce my next directorial feature. I will commence the shoot of my action film in April 2023.” His last released directorial was ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ way back in 2016 and the next will be ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ that releases in February 2023.
