Karan Johar has announced a new film as a producer titled ‘Bedhadak’. It will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and stars Shanaya Kapoor, Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani. Releasing the first look posters of the film Karan says, “We’re bringing to you a new era of love – one that’s filled with passion, intensity and boundaries that will be crossed, ‘Bedhadak’! Starring our latest addition to the Dharma Family – Lakshya, Shanaya Kapoor and Gurfateh Pirzada!” He also called the director “exceptional Shashank Khaitan”. Interestingly, Shanaya is Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter and hence many trolls have restarted the nepotism debate. ‘Bedhadak’ will be her debut film. Fans pointed out that the initial posters of the film reminded them of KJo’s earlier film ‘Student of The Year’, which was released in 2012.
