Karan Johar will now direct a horror film for the streaming giant Netflix. Titled ‘Ghost Stories’, the flick will have four different directors – Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee apart from KJo. The series will be a bundle of four short films and each filmmaker will helm one project. As for Karan, ‘Ghost Stories’ is said to be his first horror film which he will direct. Avinash Tiwary and Mrunal Thakur will feature in this anthology. While Avinash has received rave reviews for ‘Laila Majnu’, Mrunal has acted in ‘Love Sonia’, ‘Super 30’ and ‘Batla House’. Before diving deep into the horror and supernatural genre, Karan delved into web series ‘Lust Stories’, which again was the collection of different tales, for the same media-service provider.
