It is a known fact that Karan Johar is facing the camera after a long time, playing a villain in ‘Bombay Velvet’. While he is a successful filmmaker, Karan had a completely different experience of being directed. “It has been the most exhilarating experience of my life. Being directed by Anurag Kashyap, working with him has been like going to film school. I felt that I have had to unlearn everything I ever knew about cinema and actually learn something absolutely new.” Many times, Karan apparently was being directed by Ranbir Kapoor on the sets. Praising him KJo said, “Ranbir has the making of a great filmmaker which is a great fall back plan if all things fail.”
