Kareena Kapoor Khan marks 25 years in Bollywood as we reflect on her journey from ‘Refugee’ to becoming one of the industry’s most celebrated stars. Over time, she has shifted her focus from chasing roles to embracing a more selective approach. In a recent interview to Nod magazine, she shared, “I’ve had the privilege of doing so many different kinds of cinema, so many roles. And even now, I don’t feel like it’s enough. I never want to feel like I’ve done everything.” Kareena also spoke about her newfound contentment, saying, “I’m happy I’m not chasing anymore. I see younger actors running from one thing to the next, and I just think: I’m glad I’m past that.” She values her work-life balance choosing family time over industry obligations, “I don’t feel like leaving my kids alone or because I don’t want to be seen at some awards show. I want to be able to choose – because I’d rather sit at home with my husband and watch a show or have a glass of wine. That’s one of the biggest changes I have gone through, personally. It is up to me to strike a work-life balance.” Bebo’s perspective highlights a shift in priorities – moving beyond the relentless pursuit of success to embracing a more fulfilling personal and professional life.
