Kartik Aaryan is making it big at the box office with ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The film is breaking many records for him on a personal level and even for Bollywood in general. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has collected Rs 83 crore at the ticket windows in six days of release. Speaking of records, this has become Kartik Aaryan’s sixth highest grossing opening weekend film so far in the 11 years of his career. ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ was his debut film in 2011, which did a business of Rs 3.25 crore on opening weekend. ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ followed it up with Rs 26.57 crore. Then came ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Luka Chuppi’ with Rs 28.51 crore and 32.13 crore respectively. ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ added another Rs 35.94 crore in the weekend kitty of the Kartik Aaryan films. Talking about Bollywood, Kiara Advani and Tabu-starrer and Anees Bazmee-directed ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has become the biggest Hindi film opening of 2022 with Rs 23.51 crore.
