Readers may recall our previous update on Maddock Films’ busy slate with eight upcoming releases. Recent reports suggest that Kiara Advani is in talks with Maddock head Dinesh Vijan for a supernatural comedy titled ‘Shakti Shalini’. This film could potentially launch a new standalone fantasy comedy franchise and would mark Kiara’s first project with the production house. Known for her ability to portray both strength and vulnerability, Kiara seems a fitting choice for the role. While discussions are ongoing, no final decision has been made. Kiara’s visits to Maddock’s office in 2024 have fuelled speculations about this collaboration. An official confirmation is still awaited regarding Kiara’s involvement in ‘Shakti Shalini’. As for her other films, Kiara will be seen in a Telugu flick ‘Game Changer’ with Ram Charan, slated to release on 10 January 2025.
