The project has sparked considerable excitement especially surrounding the potential casting of its leading lady. Recently, a keen-eyed fan on Reddit suggested that Kiara Advani might step into the role of the beloved actress often referred to as India’s Tragedy Queen. This speculation took off after it was observed that Kiara expressed her enthusiasm for the film’s teaser and that Malhotra had begun interacting with her on Instagram fueling rumors about her involvement. In September, Malhotra officially announced the film underscoring its significance in the landscape of Hindi cinema.
