Famous singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, famously known as KK, passed away at the age of 53. The crooner was performing live on stage at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata on Tuesday and is said to succumb to cardiac arrest post his event. After winding-up his performance inside the venue with an audience of approx. 5,000 people, KK left for his hotel room where he complained of uneasiness. He was immediately rushed to the CMRI Hospital about 15 minutes away but was declared dead on arrival. His body was then sent for autopsy. Reportedly, there were some cuts and injury marks visible on the singer’s face and hands and hence the police have registered a case of unnatural death. The family is expected to bring his mortal remains to Mumbai and have a funeral on Thursday, June 2nd.
