Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is one of the most anticipated hindi films and is constantly going through release date changes thanks to Covid. Latest reports suggest that this ‘Forrest Gump’ remake may be postponed yet again. Recently, it was officially announced to release on April 14, 2022, during Baisakhi. The makers now fear that ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ might eat into ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’s business as it has a huge fan base around the world. The makers may have taken this cue after seeing how the southern film ‘Pushpa’ did better than ‘83’ at the box office despite the latter being a multi-starrer. One can’t underestimate Southern cinema anymore and so, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ may release around Diwali.
