A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed against ‘Good Newwz’ in Karnataka High Court and the same will be heard on December 27 which is also the release date for the film. A Mysuru based NGO is behind the case as it fears for the authenticity of the IVF treatment which is the plot of the film. It also claims that people will be misguided with such a storyline as mix ups don’t happen during In Vitro fertilisation which is the premise of ‘Good Newwz’. The film also talks about Indira IVF, promoting a certain private clinic and discrediting others in the flow. The petitioners have requested for a stay on ‘Good Newwz’ in their PIL.
