One of India’s greatest dance masters, choreographer Saroj Khan who was hospitalized last week due to breathing issues, passed away early Friday morning (IST) due to cardiac arrest. She had severe diabetes and related illnesses which attributed to her hospitalization on June 17th. It was earlier reported that she tested negative for Covid-19 and was expected to make a full recovery and get discharged last weekend. This news comes as a shock for everyone as the entertainment industry lost yet another talented member. Saroj Khan was 72. She is survived by her husband, son and two daughters.
Saroj Ji’s contribution to Hindi cinema with such classic numbers as ‘Ek Do Teen’, ‘Dhak Dhak’, ‘Dola Re Dola’ and the recent ‘Tabah Ho Gaye’ will be remembered for generations to come.
