Lootcase’, the film which was to hit the theaters on October 11, was pulled out of the rat race thinking that it hardly had any exposure in the market. It was then decided to release this small-time Bollywood film directly on the OTT platform like Netflix or Amazon. This would have saved the filmmakers and distributors lakhs of rupees in prints as well as logistics. After many days of such back and forth, the makers of ‘Lootcase’ have finally decided to go ahead with its theatrical release. Since many content-driven small films are making a mark in Bollywood these days, the makers are hopeful that their film too will dent the otherwise star-dominated industry. Starring Kunal Kemmu, ‘Lootcase’ will release after Diwali.
