L’Oréal Paris in association with NDTV felicitate 8 ‘Women of Worth’ for their powerful contribution to the society

It was a night dedicated to applauding and honoring accomplished Indian women as L’Oréal Paris in partnership with NDTV hosted the fifth edition of ‘Women of Worth Awards’. The award ceremony held at The Taj Lands End, Mumbai, felicitated the achievements of 8 exceptional women who have made a difference to the lives of others through their determination, conviction and drive. ‘Women of Worth Awards’ brought to fore the dedication, perseverance and the inspiring journeys of Indian women for their impactful contribution in respective fields. The nominees, selected across 8 categories including social impact, education, science and innovation among others, were shortlisted after an extensive research process by the jury.

Celebrating the 5th edition of Women of Worth Awards, Satyaki Ghosh, Director, Consumer Products Division, L’Oréal India said, Celebrating women achievers and encouraging women to believe in themselves is part of L’Oréal Paris’ core belief.The achievers that you see today are fabulous examples of the work women in India are doing, allowing the community and the nation to grow. L’Oreal Paris Brand ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif along with celebrities like Sunil Gavaskar, Tisca Chopra, Suhel Seth, Prasoon Joshi and the esteemed jury members were in attendance to give away the awards. All 3 ambassadors gave away awards for causes close to their heart – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Social Impact, Sonam Kapoor for Science and Innovation and Katrina Kaif  for Education.

Power packed performances by Kailash Kher, Harshdeep Kaur and Shakti Mohan brought alive the essence of womanhood in India and made the evening an occasion to remember.
