Sanjay Dutt informed everyone about his ill health yesterday and said that he will be taking a break from films. By the end of the day, news trickled in that the actor is suffering from lung cancer. Though neither Sanju himself nor his family confirmed this news. In the meantime, his wife Maanayata Dutt issued a statement saying, “I thank everyone who has expressed their well wishes for Sanju’s speedy recovery. Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead. All we seek is your prayers and blessings, and we know we will emerge as winners on the other side, as we always have.” Sanjay is rumoured to fly out to the US for further treatment.
