The makers of the Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Maidaan’ have finalized the release date of the film. The team, comprising of producers Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta and director Amit Ravindernath Sharma of ‘Badhaai Ho’ fame, have decided to release ‘Maidaan’ during the festival time of Dussehra. Hence the film will hit theatres on October 15, 2021. With 65 percent of the film being complete and the rest of the shoot expected to wind-up by April 2021, Ajay can then move on to films other than ‘Maidaan’. He has ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, ‘The Big Bull’, ‘RRR’, ‘Sooryavanshi’ and recently declared ‘MayDay’ to name a few. As for ‘Maidaan’, Ajay plays a football coach in this VFX heavy film.
