Malaika Arora met with a car accident on Saturday afternoon. The model-actress was travelling from Pune to Mumbai after attending a fashion event. The accident took place a little way from the Khalapur Toll Plaza and Malaika was immediately rushed to the Apollo Hospital in Navi Mumbai. On hearing the news, her sister Amrita Arora Ladak and Malaika’s boyfriend Arjun Kapoor immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors had kept her under observation. Fortunately, the actress escaped the accident unhurt apart from a minor injury on her forehead. The car however was badly damaged. Doctors administered first aid on her and she was discharged from the hospital to be back in the safe confines of her home for recovery.
