Manoj Bajpayee won his third National Award with ‘Bhonsle’, which was conferred upon him in the national capital, Delhi. His first National Award was way back in 1998 when he won for ‘Satya’ in the Best Supporting Actor category. The next one came with ‘Pinjar’ in 2003. And the hat-trick is complete with ‘Bhonsle’ this year which he won for Best Actor. But Manoj says that he felt all alone while receiving the honour from the Vice President of the country. This as he had to fly to Delhi from Kerala and his wife and daughter couldn’t be with him during such a career high. While accepting the award, he also got emotional remembering his father Radhakant Bajpai, who passed away recently.
