With all the love being showered on the film, ‘Mission Mangal’ is eyeing to cross Rs 127 crore in its extended weekend. The film opened with a massive Rs 29.16 crore on Thursday, August 15 and has pocketed Rs 114.39 crore in just six days at the box office. The space drama marked the biggest opening for Akshay Kumar and going by its craze among fans, ‘Mission Mangal’ could well beat the lifetime total of Akki’s earlier film, ‘Kesari’, which stood at Rs 154.41 crore.
