Emraan Hashmi’s latest release ‘Mr X’ created a lot of curiosity among the audiences, thanks to the invisibility factor in it. A lot of comparisons were drawn to cult classic of yesteryear, ‘Mr India’. Now with the film released, the box office doesn’t seem to be very promising for Emraan. According to trade reports, the film made approximately Rs 4.5 crore on its opening day and has made a total of around Rs 13.99 crore over its first weekend. While the film faced some competition from ‘Dharam Sankat Mein’ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ released earlier, being a solo release ‘Mr X’ could not gross much in India.
