‘Mubarakan’, starring Arjun Kapoor in a double role with Anil Kapoor playing his uncle, recorded slow start at the Box Office, with just Rs 5 crore on Friday in its kitty. However, the film picked up pace over the weekend, swelling with Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday. ‘Mubarakan’ released on 2,350 screens in India. The film was made at a budget of over Rs 50 crore. On the other hand, Madhur Bhandarkar’s political saga ‘Indu Sarkar’ too released last Friday, but performed poorly, making just Rs 3.25 crore at the end of three days.
