Production house Eros International seems to have decided to drop Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. Eros may have taken this harsh step after their recent flops at the Box Office. Viacom 18 is the second producer in this ambitious project, which has A-listers like Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. While all the three celebs will be paid a hefty fee, it remains to be seen how SLB will save his cinema, rumored to be budgeted at a staggering Rs 140 crore. Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures too recently backed out of Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Veerey Di Wedding’.
