Parineeti Chopra married her long-time friend and politician Raghav Chaddha on Saturday, September 23rd. Less Bollywood celebrities and more politicians were seen at the wedding primarily. As the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur was decked to welcome all, the Bollywood guest list included designer Manish Malhotra who had designed Parineeti’s wedding outfit. Karan Johar and Priyanka Chopra’s absence was conspicuous. Murmurs had it that KJo had to skip the wedding because of a medical emergency in the family. Priyanka, who is Parineeti’s cousin, could not make it due to her prior work commitments. Pari wore a blush lehenga whereas Raghav was seen in cream sherwani. Sharing some of the pictures from their wedding, Parineeti wrote on her Instagram, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other. Our forever begins now.”
