Priyanka Chopra had very enthusiastically announced that she planned to make a film on the life of Maa Anand Sheela. Highly controversial, she was the personal secretary of Indian godman Rajneesh also known as Osho. Sheela Birnstiel however has denied the said film stating that she hasn’t given Priyanka the rights. And this revelation has led to the revival of a film by Karan Johar. The filmmaker was planning to cast Alia Bhatt in the role of Maa Anand Sheela. With Priyanka out of the race, KJo could well revive the film. Interestingly, Maa Sheela thought Alia to be the ideal person to play her on the big screen and this film could well be a big opportunity for the actress.
