Allu Arjun’s highly awaited sequel ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has taken the Indian box office by storm by raking in an astounding Rs 930 crore within just 12 days. Rs 573 crore is from the Hindi version alone. This massive success has solidified ‘Pushpa 2’ as one of the top-grossing films in Indian cinema history. It now ranks as the second-highest earner surpassing ‘RRR’ by SS Rajamouli, featuring Ram Charan and NTR Jr, with only ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ (Rs 1,030 crore) standing ahead. In the Hindi market, it trails just behind ‘Stree 2’ (Rs 597.99 crore) starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. With ‘Baby John’, starring Varun Dhawan and directed by Atlee scheduled to release on December 25th, ‘Pushpa 2’ is poised to easily surpass the Rs 1,000 crore milestone.
