‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ is turning out to be a sleeper hit this year. While the first film had also received a lot of love, the sequel is winning hearts at the box office. Apparently, the film is headed for a Rs 50 crore plus figure. ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ grossed approximately Rs 44.90 crore in nine days of its release. Last week, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s much hyped ‘Shaandaar’ too hit the screens. That film is not making much business and trade reports suggest that the film may have to bow out of theatres soon. Ironically, ‘Shaandaar’ hardly managed to eat into the business of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’.
