Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty are caught in a cheating controversy as an FIR has been filed against the celebrity couple at Thane police station by a textile firm owner. It has been alleged that Shilpa and Raj collected money from sale through their shopping channel Best Deal but failed to pay the same to the vendor Bhalotia, cheating him of Rs 24 lakhs. However, Raj retorted with, “Sadly it’s so easy to register FIRs in India, a complete misuse of power by a crooked vendor, Bhalotia who owes Best Deal money! I will counter this. It is the duty of the cops registering a case to check contracts and if they had, they would not have registered this fake case!” Raj and Shilpa are currently in London.
