Recently reports surfaced that Southern Superstar Rajinikanth was infected with Covid-19. Although it turned out to be just rumors, the legendary actor isolated himself as many on the sets of the film where he was shooting had tested positive. After staying in quarantine for a couple of days, Rajinikanth was finally admitted to a hospital today. Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad released a statement today with an update on the star’s health, “Rajinikanth has been admitted in the hospital. He was shooting for a movie in Hyderabad since the last ten days. He was tested for Covid-19 on the 22nd and was found to be negative.” The best of doctors are said to be monitoring his situation. “His blood pressure showed severe fluctuations and needed further evaluation for which he has been admitted,” continued the release. Rajini was shooting for South film ‘Annaatthe’ when the health scare happened.
