Ekta Kapoor is backing the successful duo of ‘Citylights’, Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar Rao, for a very promising web series. Directed by Hansal Mehta, a biopic on Subhash Chandra Bose will be shot with Rajkummar Rao playing the late freedom fighter. Giving an insight, Hansal Mehta reveals, “The biopic is not a stale, boring biography. It is the unveiling of India’s biggest cover ups. It is a fast paced and gripping tale of a man whose trajectory is one of the most fascinating ever.” This web show will be showcased on Ekta Kapoor’s new digital venture ALTBalaji.
