One of the leading comedians in India and a stand out Bollywood artiste, Raju Srivastav passed away this morning. He was 58. Raju suffered a heart attack while working out in a gym back on August 10th. He was later shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Since then, the comedian was said to be on ventilator with almost no improvement in his health. His condition deteriorated further over the last few days. He will be cremated on Thursday, September 22nd in Delhi. Raju is survived by his wife Shikha, son Ayushman and daughter Antara. Born Satya Prakash Srivastava, Raju’s body of work include his debut film ‘Tezaab’, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’ among many others, while he appeared in TV shows like ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to name a few.
