Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt began shooting for ‘Gully Boy’ over the weekend and the duo was snapped in a de-glam avatar. While Ranveer has shed his Alauddin Khilji beard for the rapper role, Alia has put on a ‘hijab’. The couple was shooting for the film at a colony in Matunga, Mumbai. The musical film is inspired from the life of Naezy and Divine, street rappers from Mumbai, who made it big in the music industry. Farhan Akhtar has penned the dialogues for sister Zoya Akhtar’s directorial, which also features Kalki Koechlin in a rapper role.
