Ranveer Singh recently flew out to London to kickstart the first schedule of Kabir Singh-directed ‘83’, which is based on India’s cricket World Cup win spearheaded by Kapil Dev in 1983. Recently, Deepika Padukone joined her filmy husband in the United Kingdom and the buzz suggests that she will join the cast of ‘83’ too! While Ranveer plays Kapil Dev, Deepika is said to step into the shoes of his wife Romi Dev. It will be an interesting watch as real life husband and wife, Ranveer and Deepika, will join forces as onscreen couple too, their first film after marriage. Ranveer has been prepping a lot for his cricketer character as the team of ‘83’ also trained at a boot camp in Dharmshala.
