Will Ranveer Singh star in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’? If the rumours are to be believed then Ranveer may feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s big-budget film. It stars Alia Bhatt in titular role and Ranveer may have just a guest appearance, instead of a full-fledged character. The film’s pre-production work had started immediately after Bhansali had a fallout with Salman Khan for his now shelved project, ‘Inshallah’ which also had Alia as the leading lady. The maker was quick to announce his next in the form of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The story speaks of a girl who was forced into prostitution and her journey thereafter. Ranveer’s presence in the film, or even the lack of it, is yet to be officially announced.
