Despite swirling rumors, Ranveer Singh is not stepping into the role of producer for a new ‘Shaktimaan’ project. His team has firmly dismissed the speculation putting an end to months of chatter about his involvement. In an official statement, they clarified that Singh has not acquired the rights to the beloved superhero franchise. “The news about Ranveer Singh acquiring rights of developing a new superhero (‘Shaktimaan’) project as the producer holds no truth. He is currently busy shooting for Aditya Dhar’s next and then, ‘Don 3’ is also on the cards for him,” his team stated. Reports had previously suggested that Singh had engaged in discussions with Mukesh Khanna, the original Shaktimaan, in an attempt to secure the role for himself in a fresh adaptation. However. with his packed schedule – including his commitment to Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film and the much-anticipated ‘Don 3’ – it appears that any such plans are off the table for now.
