Raveena Tadon’s upcoming movie ‘Maatr’ has faced some strong objection from the Central Board of Film Certification with regards to a few strong scenes in the film. ‘Maatr’ is based on the subject of fight against rape. Reacting to the CBFC’s decision, Raveena says, “As far as I know, the CBFC had objection against the strong language used in the film, as we have tried to portray the reality. We believe that till the time we don’t present the truth to the audience, they will remain indifferent to these problems. Censor Board is bound by certain laws which were made 70 years ago. The archaic laws need to be changed.”
