Abhishek Chaubey directed ‘Udta Punjab’ is reportedly courting a controversy with the Censor Board, owing the use of excessive expletives and drugs as the film’s subject. While producer Anurag Kashyap has assured that the film is far from being banned, Alia Bhatt too responded to the same, “All I want to say is Anurag Kashyap put out a tweet of all the information that is true and that is related to the topic right now. There was nothing mentioned about the cuts, it was just that the film has moved on to the revising committee and the due process is on.” The film is scheduled for a release on June 17.
