Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today. The agency is probing the drug peddling and consumption angle after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case some time back. Sushant’s death case is on a whirlwind since the time it was declared that he passed away due to suicide. It was first alleged that the actor was murdered and nepotism was at play. Then came the money laundering angle. Later, the drug mafia stole the limelight in the unfortunate event. Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested by the anti-narcotics cell recently. Since then, Rhea’s arrest had almost become imminent. With this latest development, it now remains to be seen what new path the death case may take.
